Cool Finds: Benefits of Lavender

Lavender is one of my favorite plants. Part of the mint family, lavender has many benefits. These are just a few :)



Anxiety and Depression: Lavender helps to calm and sooth anxiety and depression, as the scent helps calm the mind.

Headaches: Massage lavender oil onto temples and the forehead to naturally relieve tension headaches.

Healing Wounds: Lavender is a powerful antiseptic. It increases cell growth, which makes wounds heal faster. It can also decrease the appearance of scars.

Insomnia: The essential oil promotes a healthy sleep.

Digestion: Lavender can help the body digest fats and relieve gas pressure and constipation.
