Throwback Thursday: "Shake Your Love"

Is it just me, or are the 80s ALWAYS making a comeback?? Debbie Gibson and Tiffany have been making appearances and performing on various television media circuits lately and I can't help but think of the days when I first listened to them. Before iPods and iPhones to enjoy to my music, I'd use a good ol' fashioned Walkman or "boombox" with a cassette of limited music selection- what has now become an unacceptably cumbersome method of listening to tunes. Enjoy this stroll down memory lane.

What to Watch: "Heat Seekers"

I am a big fan of the show "Chopped" on Food Network.  So I'm pleased to see one of the veteran judges, Aaron Sanchez, coming out with a new show called "Heat Seekers".  He and Roger Mooking, award-winning musician and host of Cooking Channel's "Everyday Exotic", will be traveling across the country in search of some seriously spicy grub.  If you've seen the commercials, you'll notice that these two don't mess around!  Will you be tuning in?

Cool Finds: Floating Playing Cards

 I just came across a cool set of waterproof floating playing cards that you can use while in the pool, for example.  These seem perfect for Summer, don't they?  They even come with instructions for a game called Splash Jack.
